Prerequisite: The student should have a basic understanding of data communications, specifically IP networks. Or Network Foundations Level I, Level II, and TCP/IP Fundamentals.
Audience: This course is for technical professionals who are implementing and maintaining a Contivity VPN switch as a security gateway between their private networks and/or between a private network and a public network. This includes Systems Engineers, Network Architects, Network Administrators, Firewall Administrators, Field Engineers, and any technical personnel responsible for the Contivity Switches.

Description: This course enables the student to configure, maintain and manage the Contivity family of products. The student learns through lecture and practical use the Contivity’s routing, network management and LAN/WAN capabilities. Through lecture and hands-on exercises, the student will examine the full set of hardware and software features. This course covers features up to version 6.0.
