Description:Through a series of discussions, the student gains knowledge from the real world experience of the instructor. The course covers the Nortel Networks’ Ethernet LAN Switching family of products. The student learns the features and functions of each of these products and the placement within a network. There are a series of discussions on network design techniques based on the features supported by the Nortel Networks’ Ethernet Switches. To reinforce the discussions there are case studies in which the student actively participates. This course is unique in the marketplace as it designed to assist the student in their preparation for the Nortel Networks Ethernet Design Specialist certification.
