Contivity Configuration Manager
The Contivity Configuration Manager is an intuitive, graphical configuration tool that simplifies and streamlines the process of provisioning Contivity devices -- including routing, VPN, firewall, QoS, and policy services -- across headquarters, branch, and remote sites. Two licensing options are available: one to support up to 250 Contivity devices, one for up to 2500 devices.

Key Features:
- Graphical user interface -- based on Explorer and Windows conventions -- reduces training requirements and simplifies configuration through point and click commands.
- Work flow wizards streamline and automate configuration processes with guided, step-by-step operations. Context-sensitive screens display only the parameters relevant to the interface or element being configured.
- Bulk configuration (multi-device configuration) provides a multi-box view of Contivity devices with cut-and-paste functionality to eliminate repetitive configuration tasks.
- Auto-discovery of configurations on existing Contivity devices streamlines initial datafill and ongoing validation.
- Client-server operation enables Contivity devices to be configured locally (directly connected to the device) or remotely (across a network) using either the stand-alone client or any standard web browser in Client/Server environment.
- Off-line configuration enables network administrators to pre-define configurations that can be 'pushed' out to remote devices, minimizing the need for highly trained field installers.
- Java-based foundation enables the Contivity Configuration Manager to run on Solaris and Windows platforms.
- Time-of-day scheduling of operations allows updates and changes to be scheduled during least disruptive times; email notification service provides status and information on automated, scheduled processes.
- Centralized storage of configuration data reduces the possibility of incorrect or outdated information. Configuration data and device images can be archived for later retrieval. Audit logs track all configuration activity for security purposes.
- File management capabilities enable image, script, log, and configuration files to be maintained on the Contivity Configuration Manager or on Contivity devices.
- Scalable licensing enables one Contivity Configuration Manager to support up to 250 or up to 2500 Contivity devices.
- Administrators get up and running quickly with intuitive, Windows-based interface, wizards that provide step-by-step guidance, and context-sensitive screens.
- Cut-and-paste and multi-device configuration tools streamline the process of configuring many Contivity devices.
- Choice of local or central administration enables enterprises to delegate configuration responsibilities to match their organization structure and requirements.
- Time-of-day scheduling and email notification minimizes the effect of configuration tasks on end users.
- Enduring record of audit logs, scripts, images, and configuration files enables administrators to track activity, retrieve earlier versions if necessary, and copy configurations for new systems.
- Scalable licensing for 250 or up to 2500 devices enables organizations to pay as they play, and grow when needed without stranded investment.
